Waivers and Claims
10 claims per season Free agents are first come first serve Player that have not played at least 10 nhl games cannot be claimed as free agents, they must go through draft. Waiver priority will decided at random for beginning of first season, but when you make a waiver claim you go to last place on the priority and every other team moves up. After our first season, waiver priority will be based on reverse of standings to start each seaons. Move to last when you make a waiver claim. - Cannot pick up players which were not signed to new contracts from GMs until after FA draft.

So based on what I am reading I can grab a guy off waivers that has not played 50 nhl games yet? I only have to wait till 10 games? is this correct and if so does this not take away from the prospect draft each year.......

Prospect draft is entry draft so this does not affect it because u cannot pick them until after draft
