Salary Cap
Every year the NHL cap changes ours will change with it so this will be for the 2013-2014 season. Salary Cap only counts Reserve and Active roster meaning 30 Players. Salary Cap Ceiling: 90 million Salary Cap Floor = 70 million
Off Season - You are allowed to be over the cap by 10% meaning you can be at 99 million - But got to be back under the cap by Oct 1st. Penalties for Going over - If you violate this you will lose 50,000$ on your salary cap for that year. - Also will count as illegal roster meaning every week you will lose a draft slot. - All new contracts extensions will start going against you cap August 15th (These are contracts which were signed by players during their old contract so players which did not hit RFA or UFA status)
Drops - Players under 1.5 million can be dropped any player over 1.5 million need to be bought out.
Buy Outs - Same as NHL you will be on the hook for 2/3 of his salary for how long his contract lasts for. E-mail the player who want to be bought out and who you want to pick up in his place to the.hmfl@gmail.com
